I have been reading all the comments that some of you 'anons' sent me, and at this point, I have to say something. This blog is a personal blog, It is about my life, it is my space and though I appreciate all the love, one thing I will not allow is the act of bullying. You don't have to like me, by all means you are entitled to how you feel, Own it, just don't be disrespectful to other people.

I do not care much about the opinions of cyber bullies. I feel so sorry for the people who feel the need to put other people down, It is a cry for attention and a desperate need for a HUG! Yes, so I read the comments and laughed at how silly and petty some of you are. I look forward to the day that you would all realise that you don't get paid to hate or be a nasty piece of work. Truth is, it takes more from you and I wonder if you ever get exhausted. That been said, the reason why I even acknowledge you today is because you have been so disrespectful to some of my readers and it has to stop.

I will not approve any comment insulting a reader/commenter. This is not a war zone, please save all of that aggression guys, C'mon, let us all have fun and actually get along. Life is such a short ride, why spend it being angry? You can agree to disagree but please do it with respect.

Thank you for being a part of my blog, I appreciate you all.

Ps - I didn't realise I was writing a thesis for my Harvard lecturer, gotta go, I'm on radio.... It is all love anyways!

Prada Hunting Bag

Since I saw this bag last week, I haven't slept well. I am still salivating and I won't stop till I buy one. The lovely Prada bag comes in a variety of colours but the blue one is talking to me right now. Does that happen to you?

It is the season to be jolly so why not? If you have the bag just know that I am soooooo jealous of you right now. Ok I am just ranting right.....#BYE

Akunna (kuku hair) and Toke Makinwa

Hey guys, I have received a lot of phone calls and emails about the pixie hair crop. I feel like a "Trend - Setter" and I have you all to thank for that. The hair was done by Aunty Joyce, my good friend Isoken Ogiemwonyi actually inspired the look.

The venue of the salon is Lekki. World famous salon  it is called, you can find it right  behind the "Place", 8c Lai Yusuf Street, Lekki Phase 1. When you get there, ask for aunty Joyce and tell her that I sent you. Give her a nice tip too.

I woke up this morning hungry. Lately this has been happening a lot, I am not working out right now, The only exercise I do is with my mouth. "get your minds outta the gutter folks" I mean my job.

Christmas is around the corner and my good friend Oreka Godis depressed me even further by posting a picture on twitter. My abs used to be on point at some point in my life, I remember when I would pray to add weight cos I was so skinny. Lol something obviously happened.

Abs for dayssss. Lol

When we hear diet, a lot of people quickly picture an obese person and that should not be the case. There are a lot of skinny unhealthy people walking around too. As we grow up it should not be a choice anymore. It should be mandatory to keep a strict diet and take care of yourself. I don't like to exercise, my personal trainer and I have a love/hate relationship but I am so thankful he pushes me as had as he does because I am so lazy about exercising.

This weekend I heard of a number of Faboosh diet plans and I want to indulge in one or two. I heard of the Cambridge diet and I want to give that a shot. You can join me, It is a weight loss plan to offer drinks as a replacement for food. Products like shakes, soups, snack bars, porridge and the likes. It has various steps and you can read all about it HERE

Toke Makinwa

I started the "Inspirational notes" segment last week Sunday and here we are again. Today is yet another one and before I head out, I want to share what I woke up feeling. We all have our hopes and aspirations for the different fields and areas in our lives, to dream of all we want to do and be is so easy but to execute those dreams is where we have various hitches.

So many people are moving around in circles with that dream and that can be very frustrating; when you look at where you are now and something inside of you keeps telling you, you could be better, greatness lies ahead, and all you can think of is how can I get to that place where my heart longs for?

It all starts with you, Fear is such a funny emotion. It is roars so loud but it is in actual sense very little. You have to find a way to face your fears and defeat it. They say luck is when preparation meets with opportunity, I beg to differ. It is good to be prepared but you cannot wait for that opportunity, you might have to go out there and create it.

I am afraid too. When I think of all my dreams for my future, I literally hear the sound of my fears but I have come to understand that to dream it is the first gift. If you can dream it, you are on the right path. "We do not die when we stop breathing, we die when we stop dreaming" notice the difference? If you have stopped dreaming, It is time to wake up

He who gives us the ability to dream, is greater than the fears that come from actualising it. Believe that: "YOU CAN". As you go into this week, anytime you feel the doubt creeping in, remember that you are still breathing and that itself is undiluted hope.

Wishing you all the best this week has to offer and feel free to send me all your testimonies...xx

This article should be fun, 'thinking to self". The past two days have left me wondering about a number of things when it comes to dating. First on my list has to be the dating scene. Is it just me, or has the dating scene in our generation changed so much? It could be me and I would love to be corrected if you feel that I'm wrong but I feel like it is so tiring.

I was in a relationship for 9 years. Yes, a bit of information about me, It was 9 good/bad, happy/sad and the whole nine yards and even though we have broken up, We choose to remain cordial and I wish him well. This article is not about him, so let's get back into it shall we?

Okay so when I think of the whole dating again matter, I get really turned off. Apart from my crazy schedule, I shy away from it all mostly because I see the whole process of getting to know someone as very tedious and to be honest, the kind of stories I hear this days just makes me cringe.

I am also at the point where I love my space. I find myself thinking of work 99.7 percent of the day and when I'm not overwhelmed with that, I just want to sleep. The whole going out on a date to listen to someone tell me all about his life just doesn't excite me. Lol I mean, I wish there was a data correlation device where you can simply check out what you want somewhat like a tick or miss. The whole sitting down to hear someone's life story doesn't inspire me. Crazy huh, the worst is the chatting late into the night. 'Lord have mercy' I want to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Lol

So I guess all I am trying to say is that I don't understand the whole dating scene anymore, can someone explain it to me?

Thank you in advance

Toke Makinwa

Hey guys, so I have received a number of emails about my birthday look and i decided to blog about it. My knee length gold dress was made by April by Kunbi. Kunbi is an amazing designer, she has some ready to wear outfit so you all can stop by at her retail store which is situated at Davida Plaza, 31A Admiralty way, Lekki, Lagos.

I accessorised this look with a diamond stud earring and a pair of red Christain louboutin Sandal. Over all I am most inspired by my makeup which was done by me. Yes, I can do my face up my face myself. Lol Thank you guys for all the lovely comments and messages, I love You.

The Lipstick is from MAC, it is called 'Girl about town"

Hey Guys, I know I have been gone for a minute. I apologise and blame it on the season, things get so busy at this time of the year. Thank you all for all the messages. You guys are too adorable.

So I hear that apart from the Nigerian police force, the Army and Air marshals there is a new force in town. They are called; the BB (Blackberry phone) Police Force. Yes, they are all in our lives, the people who pose as friends on our BB's when in actual sense they are monitors. They keep tabs on us and want to know about all that we are up to. Lol

How to spot a BB police;
  1. They rarely ever chat with you. The only time you hear from them is when they see your update change and it often times starts with a PING.
  2. They share all your information, pictures, status etc with the world. The moment there is gist about you out there, they comment with the information they have.
  3. They are the ones with different pictures everyday. Every day is someone's birthday in their life . For example they put pictures of people they don't even know and write " happy birthday beautiful Ada Obi very beautiful"
  4. They are the ones who have twitter updates about your personal status message. Dang!
  5. They are the people who save your personal conversations and email them to their other friends...
  6. They are the people who don't celebrate you publicly. When you have good news on your status, they congratulate you in secret but never celebrate you. only when you are sad
Okay if you get my drift, and perhaps I missed out a point or two, feel free to comment and educate us all. (even the BB police shall turn their nose upwards and comment too)

We love you, we just wish your lives were more entertaining too. I mean, It must suck to live through our lives; go get yours...

This article was written to make you laugh, go ahead, you know you want to LAUGH...
